I’m David York, and football has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From grassroots games to pulling on an England shirt for the Over-70s squad, the sport has shaped my life.

But staying match-fit in your seventies isn’t easy. The knocks take longer to heal, the recovery demands more effort and you can’t just train the way you did in your twenties. I’ve had to adapt — finding new ways to stay sharp, keep my body strong and still enjoy the buzz of competition.

That’s what YorkieFit is about. It’s not theory or guesswork — it’s my real journey:
